Lonely Not Alone
Lonely Not Alone is back for its fifth and final year in 2023.
We’ve been working with young people since 2019 to tackle the stigma of youth loneliness through our youth-led behaviour change campaign. We want to help young people feel more confident talking about loneliness to improve their mental wellbeing and deliver on Co-op’s vision of Co-operating for a Fairer World.
At it’s peak, 25% of young people in the UK had heard about the campaign, and we now have over 300 stories and 60 messages of support on our beautiful digital universe that was co-designed with young people in 2021.
Young people have helped us achieve so much over the last five years to tackle the stigma of youth loneliness and we want to make sure the extraordinary campaign they’ve created helps young people now and in the future.
Can you help us create a lasting legacy for Lonely Not Alone?
Get involved:
- Young people aged 25 or under can share their story to the Lonely Not Alone digital universe. By doing this, you can show lonely young people that they might be lonely, but they’re not alone.
- People of all ages can visit Lonely Not Alone to add a message of support to young people everywhere who feel lonely and show them loneliness doesn’t last forever. Your message could make a real difference.
- Share our campaign in your networks, with young people in your life or promote us on social media using these suggested messages and assets. If you run a youth project, download our youth work pack to help you speak to young people.
Help us show youth loneliness still matters.
