Funding Futures is delivered by UnLtd and there are four application rounds each year. Check dates and eligibility here.
About the fund
The Funding Futures Programme funds and supports 16-30 year olds with great ideas for solutions to help those sidelined by the financial system – giving them the tools they need to build financial resilience in their communities, so they become fairer places to live, with opportunities for all.
By listening to, and working closely with, the next generation of leaders and pioneers, the Funding Futures Programme will help create a future where a healthy economy means good, sustainable jobs, with money flowing back into communities right across the UK.
Funding Futures is delivered by UnLtd, and supported by funds from Co-op Foundation, Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and Millennium Awards Trust.
The awards include:
- Starting Up awards of up to £8,000
- Scaling Up awards of up to £18,000
You can use UnLtd’s eligibility checker to find out which award you qualify for.

Meet Alaa, Founder of Social by Design
Alaa received an £8,000 award from our Funding Futures Programme to kickstart her idea for a social enterprise that would use lived experience, local knowledge, and cultural understanding to deliver training to communities that need it most. She created Social by Design, and the grant from the Funding Futures Programme supported Alaa to put her expertise and learning into action, building a pilot training course to support refugees with digital literacy.
