Invitation to Tender

Experts invited to tender for assessing impact and collating learning from our Carbon Innovation Fund Round Three

We’re inviting experts to tender for a new £95k contract to assess the impact and support learning from our Carbon Innovation Fund Round 3 (CIF3).

Our three-year, £3.5m Carbon Innovation Fund is a partnership between The Co-op Foundation and the Co-op.

Round three focuses on sustainable ways to create a thriving food and farming sector, without the need to damage important peat soils across the UK.

The successful expert organisation/partnership or individual will:

  • Co-create with our funded partners our learning and evaluation approach so that it will be proportionate and useful for the funded organisations
  • Facilitate funded partner learning events
  • Design methods, collect and analyse data, and collate the impact and learning of the programme.

Read our ITT in full. The deadline to apply is 6 January 2025.

This work requires: research and evaluation expertise in the areas our funded projects focus including peat conservation and restoration, sustainable techniques for growing food crops on peat soils, alternatives to the use of peat as fertiliser, understanding of scaling up innovations in farming, facilitation skills and science communications skills.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from expert organisations, partnerships or individuals that share our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Collaborations are encouraged if experts wish to tender for the work together.

Email Asimina, our Head of Learning & Impact if you have any questions or would like to discuss further.
